K-Comm Climbs the Ranks in Orange County :.
Amidst Tough Competition K-Comm is Poised to be Southern California’s Top PR and Marketing Agency

Public Relations and Marketing is a field that is growing by leaps and bounds with each passing year. More and more businesses as well as government agencies, sports teams and even non-profit organizations are realizing the vast importance of having someone – or a whole team of people – dedicated to building and maintaining their image. With PR and marketing becoming a staple in most industries it is not surprising that competition among the vast numbers of agencies has become, well… fierce. It is for this reason that K-Comm takes enormous pride in its hard-earned rise to the top in Orange County. For the past 10 years K-Comm President and CEO, Sinan Kanatsiz, has built his firm from the ground up, relying on professionalism, ethics and dedication to the
clients to be the guiding forces behind its success. And Sinan’s “X Factor?” His ability to find and hire the most talented experts in the industry. From political gurus to public relations champions to creative geniuses, K-Comm houses a team comprised of the best the industry has to offer. This combination of expertise, resources and impressive alliances, is why, after a decade in business, K-Comm is one of Southern California’s leading PR and marketing firms and is in position to become Orange County’s number one agency by 2006.

  • PRWeek: Marketing Management Survey 2005
If you’re looking for trends surrounding PR’s role in the marketing mix, perhaps the biggest story isn’t PR; it’s advertising. The past few years have seen something of a crisis in traditional TV and advertising, due in a large part to two words that have only come into existence in the past half-decade or so: TiVo and blogs. These two phenomena have been cornerstones of the shift in formula of most marketing programs away from a 30-second TV ad centerpiece and toward a more fluid interaction with a highly knowledgeable audience. The findings of this year’s PRWeek/MS&L Marketing Management Survey – the third such report – demonstrate that the marketing industry on the whole has been successful in adapting to this new environment. Indeed, the results show that the amount of time people are spending trying to find alternatives to traditional advertising has been more or less flat year on year, showing that those people have found those alternatives now and those mediums have become more sophisticated and widely used. What’s more, as the marketing community moves into less charted areas and needs more hand-holding from external partners, PR is stealthily staking its claim in that area. “If you think about marketing as a spectrum with advertising on the left and media relations on the right,” says MS&L CEO Mark Hass, “PR is doing a better job than advertising at moving toward the middle.”
